The present edited volume entitled Stress and Health: Emerging Trends and Challenges embodies a collection of papers by scholars and researchers actively engaged in exploring the field in India as well as abroad. Stress in the light of its impact on human health has been often referred to as the common cold of modern living. As such any attempt at understanding its nature and repercussions assumes singular importance. This edited volume is an exploration of the many different ways in which the phenomenon of Stress and Health can be understood. This volume represents an eclectic mix of theoretical positions and practical domains. In this book twenty articles have been structured into four sections.
